Labour Minister Chalerm Yubamrung has undergone a brain operation at Ramathibodi hospital to treat subdural haematoma after he was sent to hospital on Friday night.
Ramathibodi Hospital director Surasak Leela-udomlipi on Saturday confirmed Mr Chalerm suffers from the condition _ which is bleeding near the outermost layer of tissue, known as dura, surrounding the brain _ and is now being treated in an intensive care unit.
Dr Surasak said Mr Chalerm's condition had satisfactorily improved and that he felt well.
