True Corporation Plc is setting the stage for bright ideas with "True Innovation Awards: The New Era". This year, the competition format is being revamped under the theme "More Variety, Much Closer, More Fun".
Forty teams from each category have been selected from a total of 821 teams from all over the country competing in two categories _ Idea Seed, the best ideas with an outstanding plan (open to students), and Inno Tree, the best innovative ideas that have already been realised (open to the public).
The selected teams from each category will showcase their full creative power and face many tough challenges from the first round right up to the final, when the top four teams of each category will be selected. Judging will be taped and broadcast in the form of a game show. Many well-known innovation gurus and artists are joining as commentators to make the show more colourful and exciting. They include Nawin Tar, Nui Sujira, VJ Jar, Pui Pimolwan, Kai Samapol, Tuitui Phutthachart and comedian Note Chern Yim.
The gruelling process will seek the best Thai innovators. All contestants will compete for cash prizes totalling more than 1.5 million baht.
