The active low pressure cell -- downgraded from tropical storm Nari -- now causing widespread rain in the Northeast and eastern provinces, is moving in a westerly direction and will bring more rain to the lower North and Central Thursday, the Meteorological Department announced at 5pm Wednesday.
Widespread and isolated heavy rain will continue Wednesday, particularly in Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, Yasothon, Roi Et, Maha Sarakham, Sa Kaew, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao and Chon Buri provinces.
Rain will decrease in the Northeast and eastern provinces from Friday.
