The Supreme Patriarch's overall condition was stable and his blood pressure low, Chulalongkorn Hospital said in its seventh announcement released about 4pm Wednesday.
A medical team was still administering antibiotics to increase his blood pressure and monitoring his condition around the clock.
The statement dismissed a rumour spreading widely through social media that His Holiness had passed away.
Phra Prathep Prariyattiwimol, Wat Bowonniwet Vihara's assistant abbot, told a press conference on Wednesday His Holinesss's condition remained stable after the previous announcement said there had been a deterioration.
The sixth announcement released by the hospital on Tuesday night said His Holiness's condition had relapsed.
The announcement also reported his heartbeat was irregular.
Phra Prathep urged people not to believe rumours related to His Holiness's condition.
On Oct 14, the revered monk was diagnosed with a bacterial infection after suffering low blood pressure, and doctors operated to remove infected portions of his intestines.
The Supreme Patriarch has been in hospital since Feb 20, 2002.
