The Senate has begun to deliberate a bill to empower the Finance Ministry to borrow up to 2 trillion baht for the country's infrastructure development projects in the second and third readings, reports said.
The deliberation of the bill began at 10am on Monday.
Sections 3 and 6 of the bill, which has 18 sections, were altered by the Senate's scrutiny committee.
Fifty-four senators had registered to debate the bill, which is required to be passed by the Senate by Nov 21.
