Artery Post-Modern Gallery presents Hidden, a painting exhibition by South Korean artist Lee In-sung, who portrays the psychology of individuals in relation to the lack of direct communication in the modern society.

Theatre : acrylic on canvas by Lee In-sung.

The concept is inspired by the familiar scenes of families gathering in front of the TV without words or two people in a cafe being kept busy with their own mobile phones without talking to each other.

The development of science has made life more convenient. Yet, the artist finds that it's always accompanied by the lack of a sense of humanity.

On display are 30 acrylic on canvas paintings with subject matters coming from small mundane objects or situations, to scenes from the stories in the artist's imagination.

He uses beds, rooms, portable tools and formalised or personalised characters to convey the psychological perspectives he has towards society.
