Bangkok will be an international trade platform for Turkish entrepreneurs to introduce their European-standard products and services, and for Thais to encounter Turkish art and culture.
Organised by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the "Expo Turkey in Thailand" will take place at the Plenary Hall of Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre from Nov 28-Dec 1 from 10am-8pm.
Held under the theme "Eyes on Turkey", the four-day expo and trade show will gather more than 80 leading entrepreneurs from Turkey's government section, associations and companies from different industries.
The outstanding products and services presented will cover food, machinery, technology, tools, electric appliances, packaging, kitchenware, decorative items, tourism, medical supplies, healthcare, beauty and fashion.
Representatives from the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board and Ministry of Commerce will also be there to provide knowledge on trade and investment opportunities.
Visitors will also learn more about the cultural side of the country through many activities at the Turkish Pavilion. The line-up includes performances by professional Turkish artists, a gigantic mosaic with a unique motif as well as rare demonstrations on glass blowing and marble carving.
The first three days are a trade show and the products will be available for sale only on the last day. However, members of the public who are interested can go along any day. There is no admission fee.
