The leader of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, said the Thaksin regime will be upended by the rally on Monday to mark the end of corruption and the return of power to the people.

He urged all protesters to block the houses of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her cabinet ministers if people die in the rally.

The message was sent out by Blue Sky channel from the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road. But it was jammed throughout when Mr Suthep took the stage on the eve of the final rally.

Sathit Wongnongtoey, a PDRC member, used the stage at the Democracy Monument to accuse a state-run television station of colluding with the government to disrupt the Democrat Party television station's signal.

Col Winthai Suwareee, the army deputy spokesman, said on Sunday night that army chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha was worried about a mass turnout of protesters and wanted to see no violence.

Gen Prayuth hoped the situation would return to normal as soon as possible, Col Winthai said. The army commander has insisted on no military coup to end the political unrest, the deputy spokesman added.
