The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announced on Wednesday that it has temporarily moved its contact centre and customer service centre from the SET building on Ratchadaphisek road to the Esplanade shopping complex’s 2nd floor on the same road.
Stock trading services will be provided at this temporary centre near the Maruay Library from Wednesday onward until further notice, the SET announced.
The SET’s decision to move its service centre came after a threat by the anti-government protesters of the Network of Students and People for Reform of Thailand to lay siege to stock exchange premises if the demand for caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to step down at 10am today is not met.
The SET said share trading services were still being provided as normal.
