A paramilitary ranger providing security for teachers was injured by a bomb explosion on a road in Narathiwat’s Sisakhon district on Tuesday morning, reports said.
Rangers of Company 4915 were on foot patrol along a local road in Ban Khlong Luang of tambon Mayoong when the home-made bomb was detonated.
Ranger Sofian Arree-jehsor was wounded by the bomb explosion and taken to Sisakhon hospital.
Police and military forces were inspecting the scene.
