About 500 People's Democratic Reform Committee protesters from the Lat Phrao rally site will today lay siege to the transport office at Nonthaburi, where they believe the Land Transport Department has moved to, PDRC core member Issara Somchai announced on Wednesday.
"Our only target today is the transport office of Nonthaburi.
"After we laid siege to the Land Transport Department opposite Chatuchak Park last week, they [officials] moved to work there. We don't want them to serve the Thaksin regime anymore," Mr Issara said.
Mr Issara said the protesters would be led by Tinkakorn Onpathum and Suchart Srisang.
He would stay at the main rally site to take care of the protesters in the wake of a shooting in front of the Army Club in which two people were injured yesterday, and the M79 grenade attack on the Lat Phrao rally earlier today.
