Thailand will meet Sweden in the Fed Cup World Group II play-offs following yesterday's draw.
The tie will be in Sweden from April 19-20 with the winners advancing to the World Group II next year.
Thailand captain Preeyakarn Saleeworaroj said: ``It will be a tough match because Sweden have one top-100 player in Johanna Larsson who is ranked 85th in the world. However, we are lucky to meet Sweden instead of the likes of Serbia and Japan.''
Thailand finished first in the Asia/Oceania Zone Group I competition at the weekend with Luksika Kumkhum, Tamarine Tanasugarn and Noppawan Lertcheewakarn in the team.
The other Group II play-off matches are Romania v Serbia, the Netherlands v Japan and Brazil v Switzerland.
