Pipe repair to reduce water supply

Water supply will slow or stop completely mainly in Bangkok's Thon Buri district from 10pm on Thursday to 5am the next day, the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) said.

The MWA said in a statement it needed to fix a leaking 800mm main pipe damaged during an accident at the construction site of the Blue Line mass transit on Charan Sanitwong Soi 11.

The affected areas are:

  • Phetkasem Road from Naowajamnuen Bridge to Tha Phra-Ratchaphruek intersection
  • Charan Sanitwong Road from Tha Phra intersection to Fai Chai junction
  • Charan Sanitwong Soi 13 from Charan Sanitwong Road intersection to Ratchaphruek Road
  • Phran Nok Road from Fai Chai junction to Phran Nok intersection on Wat Yang Suttharam side
  • Itsaraphap Road from Phran Nok intersection to Khlong Mon on odd-number sois
  • Ratchaphruek Road from Charan Sanitwong Soi 13 to Phetkasem Road
  • Ratchada-Tha Phra Road from Tha Phra intersection to Khlong Bangkok Yai
  • Ratchada-Tha Phra Road from Khlong Bangkok Yai to Bukkhalo intersection
  • All of Somdet Phrachao Taksin Road
  • Charoen Nakhon Road from Bukkhalo intersection to Khlong Dao Khanong
  • Therd Thai Road from Talat Phlu to Tha Kaset intersection
  • Wutthakat Road from Talat Mali Thong to Ratchaphruek intersection
  • Kalapaphruek Road from Ratchaphruek intersection to Khlong Ratcha Montri
