The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has allowed caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to bring in three more witnesses in a case where she is accused of dereliction of duties involving the rice-pledging scheme.

Ms Yingluck has asked to bring in 11 more witnesses but the NACC allowed only three whom it believes are involved with the scheme, Prasart Pongsivapai, an NACC commissioner and deputy spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The three witnesses are Niwatthamrong Bunsongphaisan, a caretaker deputy minister and commerce minister, Yanyong Phuangrach, caretaker deputy commerce minister, and Kittiratt Na-Ranong, a caretaker deputy prime minister and finance minister.
Mr Prasart said the NAAC would inform Ms Yingluck and asked her to bring in the three witnesses to be examined soon.
