PDRC visits Justice Ministry

People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) protesters called on the Justice Ministry at the government offices complex on Chaeng Wattana road on Tuesday morning, hoping to persuade government officials to take part in the push for reform before elections, reports said.

They were led by Suthep Thaugsuban and other PDRC core members including Sathit Wongnongtoey, Akanat Prompan, Putthipong Punnakant, Thaworn Senneam, Chumpol Julasai, Sakonthi Pattiyakul and Jitpas Kridakorn.

On arriving at the ministry, Mr Sathit went on a truck stage to address the officials, asking for the permission for the PDRC leaders to go inside.

Mr Suthep said he wanted to meet the permanent secretary for justice and other officials by himself to explain to them  the ongoing situation in the country and the PDRC's standpoint.

He said the PDRC could not let the country continue to be plagued by corruption, election fraud, unfair transfers of government officials and damaging populist policies.

The officials opened the office gate to let PDRC leaders inside.
