PDRC protesters march for support

Protesters of the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) are marching along a designated route in the capital to invite Bangkok people to join their campaign for the ousting of the so-called Thaksin regime and for reforms.

They started to move from the statue of King Rama 6 in front of Lumpini Park at 10.10am. They then marched along Narathiwat Ratchanakarin, Sathorn, Suan Phlu, Nang Linchi, Chan and Charoen Krung roads to Asiatique, the river front shopping complex.

Leading them in the march were PDRC leader Suthep Thaugsuban, Chumpol Julasai, Nathapol Teepsuwan, Putthipong Punnakant, Sakolthi Pattiyakul and Akanat Promphan.

PDRC guards have been deployed at various points along the route to provide security.
