CNN International has urged Thais to tweet updates about conditions in the country as its television channel remains blocked by the coup makers.
In a tweet at around 8am Saturday, the US-based news agency said in both Thai and English: "CNN wants to hear from the people of Thailand. You can send pictures and videos to http://cnn.it/1dniNMQ #ThaiCoup #รัฐประหาร"
Earlier, it also pledged to let Thais know about reports on the country in bilingual tweets: "CNN is still off-air in Thailand. You will see some updates in Thai as we tell people there the latest. http://cnn.it/1nbYTsM #ThaiCoup"
