A 34-year-old reporter was hit by a car on Ploenchit Road in Bangkok and died of his injuries at a local hospital on Thursday morning.
Metee Mooktaree was first hit by a taxi with the licence plate number Thor Sor 2398 and then by an air-conditioned passenger bus on route 511.
The accident happened on Ploenchit Road beneath the BTS Ploenchit skytrain station.
Reports said Metee worked as a reporter for the Al Jazeera news service and also for the Muslim White TV channel.
