A-G, 2 others moved to inactive posts

National Council for Peace and Order leader Prayuth Chan-ocha on Wednesday ordered three senior state officials moved to inactive posts.

They are the House of Representatives secretary-general Suwichak Nakwatcharachai, Attorney-General Athapol Yaisawang and permanent secretary of information and communication technology Surachai Srisarakam.

The three were moved to the Prime Minister's Office, according to the order signed by Gen Prayuth.

The three were accused by protesters against the Pheu Thai Party-led government of favouring the administration, which was taken over by the junta in the military coup on May 22.
