Suan Dusit Rajabhat University conducted its opinion survey on 2,091 people to find their reactions to national administration by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) and found most of them were happy.
Of the respondents asked from July 1 to 5, 88.52% said they were happier to see peace in the country and many problems being solved; 68.04% said their normal life returned and they could go to work and school as usual; and 64.12% paid more attention to news releases from the NCPO.
The university also announced on Sunday that 93.53% of the respondents enjoyed better atmosphere at home because they were not worried about the safety of their family any longer. In addition, 64.31% felt confident of safety because they saw soldiers deployed at places.
Besides, 79.41% said that they had more times to do activities with family members as their school and office hours ended at normal times. In the point of view of workers, 72.55% of the surveyed people said they had more conveniences in making their living.
Among friends, relatives and colleagues, 90.20% of the respondents said they were happy, had parties and ended their concerns on national situations; 84.71% viewed that they listened more to one another and were adjusting their stances towards one another's; and 68.43% sensed the feeling of unity and the importance of the national interest in the society.
