Organised by the Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital Foundation in collaboration with the Thai Holistic Health Foundation and other related groups, the “Food & Holistic Health Festival 2014”
is aimed at promoting healthy eating.

The festival will share local knowledge and wisdom on the medicinal benefits of numerous plants that can generally be grown in the garden and on climbing fence plants. There will also be information and advice on how to eat correctly in order to stave off diseases.

There will be an onsite market offering a variety of local dishes along with a display of rice varieties, a demonstration on sustainable agriculture and how to maintain good health in a traditional way.

There will also be seminars on other interesting topics, such as organic food, health and how eating can change the world. Those who would like to learn more can attend workshops on how to grow local plants, make pickled vegetables, cook probiotic food, do self-massage and make cosmetics from herbs.

The four-day festival will be held at the Impact Exhibition Hall 8, Muang Thong Thani from 10am to 8pm.

There is no admission fee. Visit www.thaihof.org or call 0-2589-4243 or 037-211-289.
