The Old England Students Association under Royal Patronage (OESA) is holding a charity concert and gala dinner to mark its 80th anniversary at Napalai Ballroom, Dusit Thani Bangkok, on July 30 from 6pm to 11pm.

This special event will be presided over by HRH Princess Soamsawali. Honorary guests will include former prime minister Anand Panyarachun, Director of the Crown Property Bureau Dr Chirayu and Thanpuying Oranuj Israngura Na Ayudhya, Chote and Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Amares and Patra Sila-on, and Dr Suvit and Khunying Songsuda Yodmani.

Entertaining the guests will be the Royal Navy Band and Dr Thaweewet Srinarong, aka Paye, of The VieTrio.

Funds raised will go towards the ongoing refurbishment of the OESA’s clubhouse and facilities on Phetchaburi Road and the Princess’ benevolence fund.

The OESA is one of Thailand’s most venerable international postgraduate student associations.
It is open to Thai and international former students of the UK, and membership is selectively approved on a committee basis.

Tickets are priced at 3,000 and 5,000 baht per person or 30,000 and 50,000 baht per table of 10. Club members and the public may also make voluntary donations.
