The see-through box clutch trend is so last year, but Thailand has not yet grown weary of it. Local newbie brand, Duchess of Cambridge, recently released their first collection, “Girl Notes”, which gives a much-needed flair and new spirit to this generic fashion rage. You can literally make a statement — a fashionable one too — with these clutches, as they all feature an inspirational or famous quote emblazoned on them.

There are seven designs; each sporting a different quote and handle. Ranges of handles include tigers and skulls, to more well-known symbols of femininity such as high heels. There are a variety of fitting motifs for different types of woman, whichever one you may be. There are no locks, as you simply pull up the handle and the top lid opens the bag. The plexiglas clutch also comes with a rectangular zipped case inside, so you can be discrete about your personal possessions.
Choose whichever colour you’d like, from the available choices of solids, animal prints or shiny metallics. It’s removable, so if you suddenly feel like flashing your platinum credit cards or high-end lipstick, you can simply take out the zip case.
The see-through box clutch isn’t quite dead yet and the extra adornment of symbols and words creates a brassy touch without losing its initial all-baring purpose. The grammatically-correct and witty quotes are also to love, making it a sassy, yet smart accessory to all who sport it.
