Don't mistake the MK initials you see on the gold-plated tags on bags as MK Suki's extension into the fashion world. It's not, so don't even think about it. For the uninitiated, the initials stand for Michael Kors, an eponymous American brand of luxury accessories and ready-to-wear garments. Although currently popular for lush bags and chunky watches, Michael Kors has been dressing women with a timeless glamour and sense of sleek sophistication since 1981, with personalities such as Michelle Obama, Blake Lively and Angelina Jolie amongst those donning his designs.

Kors' success extends to popular culture, where he was one of the judges on Project Runway and has guest-starred as himself in the celebrated series Gossip Girl, where his clothes and their identifiable style of boho chic also featured as some of the character's looks.
While the Michael Kors ready-to-wear products are not available in Thailand just yet, the accessories line has definitely landed, along with the apparel collection from the younger line MICHAEL Michael Kors (MMK).
This autumn, MMK introduces three styles: safari chic, graphic glamour and edgy boho. Animal prints are played on the textures of fur in the earthy tones of olive, khaki and cream, but are contrasted with the bright shades of orange and green in the camouflage pattern. Graphic glamour is one for the punk gals, with cozy knits coming in strong blacks and silver chains, tough studs complementing tweeds and rich fur. The houndstooth pattern is also featured and breaks the completely black palette with a welcome contrast. With edgy boho, there's more rock this look, but bohemians can be sure to find their fringe and paisley fixes among the glam-rock black pieces.
There's a wide array of shoes from MMK, ranging from pointy heels, slip-ons, to boots and leather lace-ups. The accessories follow suit to complement each style with their fur accents, fringes and studs, but for a more sleek and polished arm candy, it's the leather bags from MK that dictate mature sophistication. The shoes from MK's autumn collection, although chunky and straightforward, also evoke a simplicity boasting nothing less than luxurious.
