The Japan Discovery fair will return to Bangkok from Sept 12-22.
Held for the fourth consecutive year at The Mall Bang Kapi, the event will feature art, culture and cuisine in a faithfully recreated Japanese autumnal setting.
Japanese koto player Noriko Tsuboi will perform on Sept 12.
There will also be Japanese snacks including tsukemen noodles, daifuku mochi, Angel's Hat cheesecake and many other delicacies for sale.
Additionally, a selection of premium Japanese products and souvenirs will be available for purchase throughout the 11-day fair. Highlights include Snow White Tokyo soap with pearl powder, athletic accessories from Phiten and portable chargers from Cheero Power Plus.
Attendees will also have the chance to see uchikakes, vintage wedding kimonos made from silk and embellished with gold and silver silk embroidery of birds and flowers.
Other activities during the event include cultural performances of the Yosakoi and Naruko dances.
Thai actress Urassaya "Yaya" Sperbund will perform a traditional fan dance on Sept 12 at 3pm. She will perform alongside Japanese professional koto plater Noriko Tsuboi.
