Apple’s iPad mini will be available in Thailand early next month, according to the Big Three private mobile phone operators - Advanced Info Service, Dtac and True Move.
The smaller, cheaper counterpart to Apple's large iPad will cost 11,200 baht for 16 gigabytes, 14,200 baht for 32 gigabytes and 17,200 baht for 64 gigabytes for a WiFi-only model.
For the iPad mini with Wi-Fi+Cellular will retail for 20,500 baht for 16 gigabytes, 23,500 baht for 32 gigabytes and 26,500 baht for 64 gigabytes.
The new 4th generation iPad can now be purchased only on the AppleStore Thailand. It costs 20,500 baht for a 16 gigabytes Wi-Fi+Cellular model, 23,500 baht for 32 gigabytes and 26,500 baht for 64 gigabytes. The price for the new iPad (3rd generation) has dropped by 3,000 baht, now valued at between 18,900 and 24,9000 baht.
The new iPad mini features a 7.9-inch Multi-Touch display, FaceTime® HD and iSight® cameras, ultrafast wireless performance and an advertised 10-hour battery life (depends on device settings, usage and other factors) The new fourth generation iPad features a 9.7-inch Retina display, new Apple-designed A6X chip, FaceTime HD camera and ultrafast wireless performance.
Apple Inc on Monday announced it has sold three million iPads in just three days since the launch of its new iPad mini and fourth generation iPad—double the previous first weekend milestone of 1.5 million Wi-Fi only models sold for the third generation iPad in March.
