A diverse list of games has been discovered lurking within the Steam Network database of PC games, including Xbox 360 title "Halo 3," various versions of mobile essential "Angry Birds", and the PlayStation 3's "Dyad."
Despite the "Halo" series's status as an Xbox system-seller, the first two games in the franchise were also made available on Windows -- albeit a year or two later.
Subsequent entries were kept exclusive to the Xbox 360, but listings discovered during a recent trawl of the Steam Network database indicate that "Halo 3" at least may be coming to PC in due course.
The title was sighted during a scrape of the Steam database by the XPaw service, which turned up listings for "Halo: Combat Evolved," "Halo 2," and "Halo 3."
Alongside those were entries for another award-winning Xbox 360 exclusive "Fez" and the feted sythesthetic PlayStation 3 title "Dyad," as well as "Angry Birds: Space" and "Angry Birds: Seasons."
A separate scrape by The Brosanarium turned up "Brütal Legend," a genre hybrid starring "Kung Fu Panda" comedian Jack Black alongside rock legends Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy and Rob Halford.
The listings were lent credence by their appearance alongside confirmed upcoming releases such as "La-Mulana", "Octodad: Dadliest Catch," "The Witness," and "Resident Evil: Revelations," implying that the trove were headed for a general PC release at some point in time.
