In addition, each of the remaining episodes and the all-in season pass are subject to a discount.
The game, based on Robert Kirkman's graphic novels from which the ensuing TV series sprung, sees players become Lee Everett, an escaped convict who finds himself the de facto guardian of orphan Clementine and leader of a growing band of survivors.
It was among a handful of recurring titles to feature throughout annual award ceremonies throughout the end of 2012 and beginning of 2013, alongside "Journey," "Dishonored," "XCOM" and "Borderlands 2."
Those with North American PSN accounts had been able to purchase the full season of "The Walking Dead" at a reduced price as part of a Gamers' Choice Awards discount during the week ending March 4.
The same slice of survivalist storytelling had previosly been offered gratis to Xbox 360 and iOS owners in December as part of a similar promotion.
