Both the Humble Bundle and Indie Royale sites have unveiled new deals, offering something for mobile, Mac and PC gamers alike.
Tricksy puzzler "The Room" makes its debut on Android
The Humble Mobile Bundle runs until April 9 and is aimed at owners of Android tablets and smartphones, with the artful physics puzzler "Contre Jour," time-tangling strategy "Anomaly: Korea," garden defense classic "Plants vs. Zombies" and graphically impressive "Bladeslinger" making up the basic package.
As is Humble Bundle tradition, buyers can pay what they want, from 1 cent upwards, but will receive bonus games if they pay over the average.
In this case, the Humble Mobile Bundle has locked door puzzler and Game of the Year winner "The Room" alongside brand new retro re-release "Metal Slug 3" waiting in the wings.
A Humble Bundle Weekly Sale is for the Humble Bundle's computer gaming contingent and this week's iteration offers games from THQ's "Darksiders" and "Red Faction" series to PC gamers until April 2.
As with the Mobile Bundle, "Darksiders" and "Red Faction: Armageddon" are available for anything over 1 cent; $1 or more unlocks Steam Network downloads for the pair, while beating the average leads to the inclusion of "Darksiders II" and "Red Faction: Guerilla."
The Indie Royale Mighty Bundle runs for a week until April 4 and operates slightly differently.
Backed by the Desura gaming site, often referred to as a "Steam for indie games" or "Steam for games that aren't yet on Steam," Indie Royale bundles have a minimum purchase price that slowly rises as more people buy in -- but generous souls that beat the minimum end up lowering it for others.
Included in the current Indie Royale Mighty Bundle are photonic action title "Waveform," well-regarded role-player "Avadon: The Black Fortress," survival adventure and current buzz "Zafehouse: Diaries," undersea action game "Derrick the Deathfin," block strategy title "Tidalis" and the engagingly odd "War of the Human Tanks."
All are available on Windows PCs, with "Derrick" and "Tidalis" also working on Mac, while "Waveform" and "The Black Fortress" are compatible with PC, Mac and Linux.
