Players must type a sequence of randomly arranged words, one assigned to each letter of the alphabet, against a background of infinite and increasingly distorted cubes blanketed by a squirming, claustrophobic bass track.
If that wasn't enough, there's also an Oculus Rift version in the works, designed for use with the head-mounted 3D display, and coming courtesy of "Thomas Was Alone" and "Monstermind" developer Mike Bithell.
Built on the Unity engine, the experimental "Drop" is freely accessible from Macs and PCs, but any ensuing mobile app would likely end up costing a small fee.
