'Grand Theft Auto V' screens focus on 'the fast life'

- +

A new batch of images issued by "Grand Theft Auto V" developer Rockstar Games give us a further glimpse into the lives, minds and surroundings of the title's three main characters.

Suited and booted Michael looks like he's been caught on the set of a Michael Mann film -- "Miami Vice," "Collateral" or "Heat" perhaps -- stalking the streets of the game's satirical Los Angeles city, Los Santos.

Vest-wearer Trevor plays to type as the game's most obviously deranged protagonist, grinning in a nightclub and escaping the police in his undies.

Repo man Franklin appears to have a keen taste for the finer things in life, pictured with his pet dog Chop on the veranda decking of a penthouse suite, and we're exposed to further shots of speedboats, military helicopters, flaming private jets and the like.

The full set of screens can be seen on the Rockstar Newswire and Grand Theft Auto V official website.
