I'm not sure this week's Internet Site of the Week is even a good idea, and it's still in beta stage, but nonetheless one might find it amusing.

Here's what it has to say for itself: ``failin.gs/ seeks to answer that age old question that perhaps all of us have asked ourselves at some point in our lives. `What do people think of me, really?' As you know, nobody is perfect. We all have our own idiosyncrasies and personality flaws. Just think of all the people you know. We are sure you can identify what they could improve upon. We bet your friends know a thing or two about you that you don't know yourself!
``Create a profile and invite people to leave anonymous constructive criticism about your character. We all want to improve, don't we?
``failin.gs has people talking! We want your quote too. Tweet @failings today. Can you handle the truth?''
The site is under construction but you can leave your email to be notified when it launches. You can also follow them on Facebook or Twitter.
``Once you start receiving the anonymous feedback, you'll be able to categorise it, and you and your friends will be able to agree or disagree, leave comments, and work together to improve your personal character.''
I can see a variety of settings in which this ``service'' might actually be handy, particularly in workplaces. But if one signs on the dotted line, one should remember that old adage: Truth hurts.
