Toyota Motor Thailand yesterday introduced a new digital application to make life easier while driving.

The so-called Smart G-Book _ compatible for Smart phones and Androids _ has three main features pertaining to driving, safety and convenience.
Toyota says users can get vital information from the Intelligent Traffic Information Centre Foundation, such as traffic density on various roads or advice on alternative routes if there's traffic jam to reduce time and fuel consumption.
Users are also able to locate themselves with various hospitals and emergency centres. The last aspect is the ability to locate restaurants, shopping malls, tourist attractions and Toyota service centres.
Toyota says Thailand is the first country outside Japan to get Smart G-Book which is priced at $31.99 (about 1,000 baht). The introduction of Smart G-Book coincided with Toyota's commemoration of its 50th anniversary in Thailand.
