Burn baby burn

In this wonderful world of multimedia, even the average computer user has several programs to handle huge files, particularly video.

Using Explore&Burn is as easy as pointing at a file and right-clicking.

She has to convert and burn various formats in various ways. Copying to DVD has become a major task, and there are several nice programs that handle it. I find that having programs immediately available at a right click is handy, and I have come to like Explore&Burn quite a lot.

The program allows you to simply right click any file you want to burn to any kind of DVD, including Blu-ray, and burn it.

Once you install the program, you will have a new (and "smart") function with the right-click button of your mouse. When you're pointing to a video file and right-click, one of the choices will be to use Explore&Burn. If you chose "Burn File(s) to Disc", the main program starts automatically.

A wizard then guides you through a simple and well-explained process to choose all files you want to burn, setting up your DVD drive and choosing the options possible for the burn.

Explore&Burn is not a file converter - why I said that most users will have several programs - but is an extremely fast, logical and simply way to burn any sort of files to a DVD, whether for use or for storage, such as backups.

It also offers to associate disk-image files (Iso and Img), and will optimise and burn these to a DVD faultlessly, giving a perfect copy of the source disk from which the images were made.

Explore&Burn is by a generous Ukrainian geek, Alex Deryskyba of Sumy, who lives, virtually speaking, at http://www.exploreburn.com.
