On Tuesday, May 14, Twitter users are talking about Nokia's new Lumia 925 and Blackberry's Q5.

Tuesday, May 14, appears to be an exciting day for fans of Nokia and Blackberry with both smartphone manufacturers announcing the addition of new mobile devices to their arsenal.

Nokia announced the launch of the Lumia 925, a new flagship phone which follows on from its predecessor, the 920. The Lumia 925 is, aesthetically speaking, a slimmed down version of the 920, running on Windows 8 OS and boasting an aluminum case and the Snapdragon S4 processor and 2,000 mAh battery found in the 920. The phone was unveiled at a special event in London and will be Nokia's flagship device in the US and will launch across Europe and China in June.

Also causing a stir on Twitter today is Blackberry's Q5. The device is described as a budget QWERTY keyboard device aimed at emerging markets and was unveiled during the Blackberry Live conference on May 14. The device will be available in a wide range of colors and features a full physical keyboard as well as a 3.1 inch touchscreen display and will launch around the world this summer.
