A newly updated application now enables Windows Phone users to upload their own six-second video clips to Twitter in the style of the popular app Vine, which currently only exists across Android and iOS.
Previous attempts have been made to bring unofficial versions of Vine to the Windows Phone, however these previous incarnations have only let users watch videos on Vine, not upload their own content as users on the official Android /iOS app are able to do.
However the newly updated application, called 6Sec and developed by Rudy Huyn, now enables users running Windows 8 on their phone to upload their own six seconds of video content to Vine.
The free app is currently in Beta and is likely to remain so for a few weeks at least. It remains to be seen whether or not Vine will introduce an official version of the app for Microsoft users.

Recently some of the biggest names on Vine banded together under a shared channel called "Unpopular Now" in order to provide streamlined, entertaining, content to Vine users, and remove the need to scroll through numerous videos to find "good" content.
