We're always so dang serious with this column! This week, though, Internet Site of the Week would like to offer something rather fluffier than usual: the tarot.com website.

Despite one's fascination with science and technology, some of the old addictions remain, of which astrology is one of the most preeminent. At tarot.com, astrology takes many interesting forms, ranging from tarot cards to the I Ching, numerology, feng shui, online psychics and more.
We won't admit to being fans of this site and we won't say just exactly how we know, but one can get astrological forecasts here for as little as $5.95 (195 baht). One can get a monthly forecast, or even an entire year.
The numerology reports are fascinating (although, we suspect, a bit too smoke and mirrors to be taken seriously). Having a tarot reading done can help you make a tough decision (not that we've ever tried, of course).
A fascinating aspect about this site is its use of technology. Many sites offer tarot card readings, for example, but few do it as elegantly and seamlessly _ should we say as believably? _ as tarot.com. The site's tabbed interface gives the visitor direct access to various sections. The site, despite the huge range of services and information it offers, is designed for easy navigation. Webmasters, take note: all the information in the world is useless if visitors can't find it quickly and easily.
One might bookmark this site, if only for its daily horoscope, tailored to one's star sign. One can also view the daily tarot card and learn about what it symbolises, not to mention receiving pertinent information like the fact that Mercury has gone retrograde (and what this might mean to you!).
If only because it's a lot of fun, pay a visit. If nothing else, it will provide some relief from the relentless hyping of the iPad and Facebook currently going on in tech circles. Dare to be stupid! Life's too short to take everything too seriously.
