Highway Police Thai

Available at the App Store and Google Play

When you’re out on the road in the countryside, the last thing you want to happen is to have an accident. Should that occur, however, allow the Highway Police Thai app to assist you in times of emergencies.

The app allows users to search for highway police stations in different regions and provinces across the country. Information includes the stations’ locations on an easy-to-read map and a number you can dial. You can now also directly contact individual highway police officers in specific regions based on the available contact details.

Aside from highway police, there are also telephone numbers of different organisations that could come to your aid should you get stranded. Hospitals, insurance companies, rescue teams and car tow services are just a single touch away. Some other helpful numbers like fire departments are also available. During critical situations, this is a one-stop app to find all the numbers you need.

Even in non-critical situations the app still proves to be useful because it also features a map showing petrol stations, restaurants, accommodation and more. You can filter search results to focus on only what is needed. Another function Highway Police Thai includes is a link to different CCTV surveillance cameras and information on construction sites and roadworks to help you plan your journey.

The language can be alternated between Thai and English, which makes this app suitable for both Thai and English-speakers travelling in Thailand. Unfortunately though, the names of the different organisations and rescue departments you can call are only available in Thai.
