Information
The Vimanmek Palace is very special place to visit. It's one of the largest buildings created completely from teak wood. Built in 1900-01, it was the residence of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in 1901-05. Used as the residence for other members of the royal family it fell in disuse in 1932. Definitely a must see palace when visiting Bangkok because of the beautiful architectural design.
