Wat Sala Loi is located to the northeast of the city Nakhon Ratchasima. Thao Suranari and her husband built the temple in 1827 and it was awarded as the best avant-garde religious building from the Siam Architects Society in 1973. The main attraction is the convocation hall that applied Thai style, in the shape of a junk riding the waves. The hall also houses a large standing white Buddha image and in front of the door is a plaster sculpture of Thao Suranari.
