Wat Tha Sutthawat ancient temple was constructed in the early Ayutthaya period and during the war it was used as a crossing point across the Chao Phraya River. The temple's compound area is shaded with large trees exhibiting and creating magnificent scenery over the bank of the Chao Phraya River. Inside Wat Tha Sutthawat stands a chedi (pagoda) and ancient Buddha images and historical relics.
