The Fang Hot Springs are situated at Ban Pin, Fang in Chiang Mai province.The hot springs originate from simmering granite with temperatures from 90 to 100 degrees Celsius. Most notable is the largest spring which constantly jets out strong sulphur scented steam.
The hot springs are used for electricity generation purposes and is also a focal point for tourism.
