Information
Located on Chayangkun Road (Mukdahan–Don Tan), the tower was built to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne. The tower has a nonagonal building of two storeys at its base. The first floor houses an exhibition of local tools and utensils used in daily life. The second floor is a museum that features the history of Mukdahan, antiques, old photographs, and traditional attire of the eight ethnic minorities in the province. The sixth floor on top of the tower is the observation deck that allows visitors to enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the Mekong River and Laos.
