Ancient Khorat is considered as the beginning point of the ancient Khmer civilisation in Nakhon Ratchasima. There are overall three remaining ancient sites, namely, Prasat Non Ku, Prasat Mueang Khaek, and Prasat Mueang Kao. To get there from the centre of town, take Highway No. 2 (Nakhon Ratchasima – Saraburi) to Km. 221-222 and turn right along Highway No. 2161 (into Amphoe Sung Noen) for approximately 3 kilometres. Turn right near Wat Yanasophitawanaram (Wat Pa Sung Noen) to the remains.
