The visually dazzling Wat Chalong is the largest, most ornate Buddhist monastery in Phuket. The main building has three floors, with murals on the walls. The viharn has statues of two monks, Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang, who treated the sick and injured with herbal medicine and believed to have supernatural powers. Fortune telling is conducted on temple grounds.
