Information
This is an interesting temple in Uttaradit. It is situated in Tambon Ban Koh sub-district, Mueang Uttaradit. Inside this temple stands a very beautiful ancient ceremony hall. It was built in 1742 which was the end of Ayutthaya era and the dawn of the Rattanakosin era. The front of the gable was carved into a Garuda subduing a Naga which was the signet of the Second King of the Chakri dynasty. The pattern is a combination of Khrua Thao Kan Khod and Thep Phanom patterns. Within the ceremonial hall, there are paintings on three walls. The murals are now fading away.
