Si Po Waterfall National Park covers 289 square kilometres of Narathiwat province in southern Thailand. Rocky mountain ranges covered by healthy rainforests serve as the habitat of many kinds of wild animals. These forests along with the hills and waterfalls paint a very beautiful picture with changing scenes in different seasons. Important green forest plants such as Malacca teak, yang and several kinds of ironwood abound the forest all year round. Wild animals existing in the park include monkeys, langues, barking deers, mouse deers, deers, porcupines, loris, civet cats and giant squirrels. There are birds such as hornbills, hills mynahs, hawks and many kinds of aquatic life residing in the area.
