Budo Sungai Padi National Park is part of the Sankala Khiri Mountain Range that serves as a natural border between Thailand and Malaysia. Once inhabited by guerrillas, the park's natural beauty and virgin jungle was kept from the world. Only in 1974 with the establishment of the Pacho Waterfall Park (later known as Budo-Su-ngai Padi National Park) was it opened for the general public.
