The high mountain range of Khlong Phanom has many steep bare cliffs made of limestone. Fertile forests envelop the mountains and many streams flow beneath the lofty greenery. Klong Phanom is a vital water source for adjoining communities and towns. All the streams from Klong Phanom converge to create the Klong Sok River.
