Information
Op Luang National Park is located in the big, but narrow canyon of Op Luang created by the Mae Chem River. The water forced its way past rocks and boulders blocking the course which is a phenomenon to behold.
From 1966 to 1991 the park was considered a forest park. Eventually it became the 68th national park of Thailand in 1991. There is a wide variety of natural attractions like waterfalls, caves, hot springs and historical sites.
